How long do filler treatments take?
Most filler treatments take about 15 to 30 minutes and require one office visit.

What is the downtime for botox?
There is no downtime for botox. Depending on the patient and treatment, the whole process takes between 20 and 30 minutes. After your appointment, you can return to your daily routine right away.

What is a good amount of filler to get?
The volume of filler used for each patient varies depending on effects one desires. Our professionals will schedule a separate consultation with you to assess and discuss the risks before proceeding with the treatment.

When will I see the results of your botox and filler treatments?
While the experience of patients differ, most patients start to see their effects 3 to 5 days after their appointment with us. For some, it may take up to 2 weeks to see the full effects.

Will botox and fillers look make my face look natural?
To get natural-looking results, the doctor or practitioner injecting the filler must have experience and expertise in doing so. Like us, most dermatologists and beauticians do not recommend overdoing fillers as they may increase the risk of stretching the skin in the long run.

Why choose waxing?
Waxing is a form of hair removal that removes the entire hair from the hair follicle. Compared to waxing, shaving cuts the hair at the surface, and can cause the hair to look thicker due the nature of your hair nearer to the hair follicle. Waxing also has longer effects compared to shaving.

Do I need to prep before my waxing appointment?
Before a waxing appointment, it is adviced not to shave 2 to 3 weeks prior. Your hair should be ¼ inch long when you come for a waxing appointment with us.

Will waxing cause my hair to grow back thicker or faster?
It is a common myth that hair grows back thicker and faster after waxing. Only hormonal changes will alter our hair growth. In fact, with regular waxing, you will notice that your hair will become more sparse.

What kind of wax do you use?
We use only the best wax, of course! For more sensitive ares, hard wax is used as it is gentler on the skin. For bigger areas like you arms and legs, we use our low-burn cream strip wax.

It’s my first time, is it going to hurt?
There will be a level of discomfort during any form of waxing service. But fret not! Our team at Verra will do everything in our power to ensure you are comfortable.

How often should I go for facials?
We recommended regular treatments every 1 to 2 months to help keep your skin clear. However, we understand that our patients may not have the privilege of doing so. That’s why we pride ourselves in coming up with a suitable routine that you can follow at home to ensure your skin stays glowing before coming back for your next appointment.

What is the age limit for your facials?
While we welcome everyone to come for our facials! However, children under the age of 18 are to be accompanied by their parents during consultations and appointments.

Why is my face red after your facial service?
It is normal for an area of your skin to become red after treatment. Our facial services include manual extractions that require force, which can cause the blood in your face to rush to the surface. You can expect to experience redness for 1 to 2 days after treatment.

What should I do after a facial appointment?
Stay away from direct sunlight and heat! Exposure to the sun may cause your downtime to increase and even reduce effects of facials. We also advice not putting on makeup or other facial products for at least 5 hours after treatment.

How do I know which facial treatment I should get?

What causes my skin to flare up?
There are many factors that can cause your skin to flare up. For example, if you have eczema, the skin moisture barrier is impaired due to genetics. This allows certain environments to aggrivate the skin. It is important to find out what can irritate your skin and work towards eliminating the cause.

What can be done to determine the cause of skin flare up?
Skin prick tests and patch test are available at Verra to help determine your triggers. However, it is also good to keep track of when your skin conditions worsen and record down any possible factors that may cause these flare ups.

How do I improve my skin condition?
